Where does the produce come from?
At Bird Dog Produce, we have spent our careers working alongside the best farms in the United States. We have cultivated long standing relationships that allow us to access the highest quality produce in the country. We buy and ship directly from the farms we support.
Our close location to major growing regions means we can offer produce that was harvested just days or hours before consumption in many cases. In order to ensure a year-round supply of these fresh fruits and vegetables, some farms use growing regions in Central and South America to round out their farming profile. We are very proud to be able to provide this year-round access to every consumer.
Do you offer organic options?
We do not currently offer any all-organic options. We may be able to in the future. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in an organic subscription and would like to get on the waiting list.
Are there ever substitutions for expected items in a box?
We are committed to providing only the best, so we may substitute a similar item for an expected item from time to time. We will only do this if there is a quality issue. This will not happen often.
How soon after harvest is produce delivered to your home or pick-up?
Our produce can go from farm to door within 24-72 hours.
What is your refund policy?
If your experience is unsatisfactory in any way, we will do everything in our power to fix it. If we are unable to address the situation to the customer’s satisfaction, a full refund will be issued.
When are Bird-Dog boxes delivered?
You can select the delivery day. On delivery day, your box will arrive during the day, generally between 8 AM – 6 PM. We will text you when we are on route to your location from the delivery before.
Is the produce delivered cold?
Your produce box will be packed cold in our refrigerated cooler at our warehouse, loaded onto our refrigerated vans and taken directly to your front door, remaining cold the entire trip and beyond.
Will the produce remain cold at my doorstep?
Our boxes include insulation to keep your produce cold for several hours at your doorstep.
Who completes the deliveries?
Bird Dog Produce representatives will pack your box, drive it to your home in our refrigerated van, and deliver it to your front door.
How long is a subscription plan commitment?
Subscriptions will continue until they are stopped. Your membership can be stopped or paused at any time from your account with one click. You can also call or email us at anytime and we will gladly cancel or pause your membership.
Can I change my delivery day or box type for my subscription?
The simplest way to change your delivery day or box type is to cancel your previous subscription and create a new subscription with your new preferences. This can be done from your account.
Can I change the contents of my Build Your Own Box every week if I sign up for a subscription?
If you sign up for a subscription and would like to change the contents of your BYO box for that week, just email us at email@example.com. Simply include your delivery day and your desired contents. NOTE that if we do not receive an email, you will receive the box that you designed when you originally enrolled in your subscription.
Can I pause or stop my subscription?
You can pause your subscription until you reactivate it or stop your subscription at any time by logging into your account. There will never be any roadblocks to pauses or cancellations. We have all had bad experiences with that in the past, and promise that we will make cancellations available and easy at all times.
When will my card be charged for a recurring subscription?
Your card will be charged weekly for recurring subscriptions. The charge will occur on the same day of the week as the day that your first purchase was made.
What do I do if I can’t access my account or I need to reset my username or password?
If you know your username, there is an option to reset your password on the My Account page. If you have any trouble with that or don’t know your username or password, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 602-237-6700 and we will help you out.
Who do I contact if I have issues with the produce or require customer service assistance of any kind, including charge disputes?

How will the charge show up on my statement?
The charge will show up as “Bird Dog Produce” on your statement.
